Couldn't recommend more for a brief stopover

Check-in process was confusing. the front door remained locked despite prior notice. Toilet issues persisted, filling slowly, and the lack of other guests created an eerie, empty atmosphere. The gated parking described turned out to be a narrow driveway with complicated logistics for accessing blocked cars.

I spent one night at this place and had an excellent experience. The receptionist was super accommodating, even getting me cookies and tea upon arrival. The room was clean and comfortable, and despite leaving early for my flight, I managed to grab some fruits and coffee. 🤗

I stayed for 3 nights in a cozy single room. Clean accommodations and an awesome location right near the main square. Breakfast was limited, but Roberto’s hospitality made up for it. Just wish the check-in was smoother and the price was less steep!

Hotel Albatros had a fantastic location in Punta Arenas. Roberto, one of the staff members, really went above and beyond for us. He prepared a breakfast to go since we had an early departure. The room we stayed in, the Standard Quadruple Room, was spacious enough for our family. However, we did face some inconveniences. The bathroom could use some updates as it felt a little worn out. The breakfast options were limited, and the hot choice was just scrambled eggs, which was a bit disappointing. There were also moments when we experienced some noise from the street outside. Overall, it was a decent stay with some standout service, but improvements could definitely enhance the experience.

Convenient location and friendly vibes

The staff was super nice and helpful! They stored our bags while we went on a penguin excursion and even left us breakfast to take along. Our room was clean and simple, but it was right by the reception, so it could get a bit noisy at night. The shower worked well, though! Extra points for the hot and powerful water pressure.

I had such a wonderful stay! The breakfast was outstanding, particularly the freshly cooked scrambled eggs and homemade cake. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Roberto, who made my experience delightful with his personalized care.

I had a lovely stay at albatros while exploring punta arenas. The breakfast was varied with delicious scrambled eggs, and the warm hospitality. The owners were really accommodating and went above and beyond to help me out with local tours!
